Hikoya: The Surprise

Unit so'zlari matnda ajratib ko'rsatilgan. Gapni bossangiz, hikoya shu gapdan o'qiladi.

A week before the history exam, the club studies together in the library. Anvar nervously turns the pages of his textbook, because the chapter about an ancient civilization is long. The noise from the corridor is irritating, but Dilya reminds everyone that patience is a virtue. Sam decides to tackle the hardest part first: the myth of a hero who was a prisoner in a tower.

Meanwhile, Dilya has a secret: it is Mr. Brown's birthday on Friday. "This is a conspiracy," she whispers, "and nobody can say a word." The students must cope with two tasks at once, studying and planning the surprise. Sam pricks his finger with a pin while he hangs the decorations, and it bleeds a little, but Aziz finds a bandage at once.

On Friday, after the exam, a tremendous cake arrives in the classroom. Mr. Brown is surprised, albeit not completely, because he heard some whispers in the corridor. "A cake is the best remedy for a tired teacher," he says. Dilya writes a precise report about the day for the school newspaper, and everybody laughs.

O'zbekcha tarjimasi

Tarix imtihonidan bir hafta oldin klub kutubxonada birga tayyorlanadi. Anvar asabiylashib darsligining sahifalarini varaqlaydi, chunki qadimiy sivilizatsiya haqidagi bob uzun. Koridordagi shovqin jahlni chiqaradi, lekin Dilya hammaga sabr fazilat ekanini eslatadi. Sem eng qiyin qismini birinchi bo'lib hal qilishga kirishadi: minoradagi mahbus qahramon haqidagi afsona.

Shu orada Dilyada sir bor: juma kuni Mr. Brownning tug'ilgan kuni. «Bu fitna», deb pichirlaydi u, «va hech kim bir og'iz gapirmasligi kerak». O'quvchilar bir vaqtning o'zida ikki ishga, ya'ni o'qish va syurpriz rejalashtirishga bardosh berishi kerak. Sem bezaklarni osayotib barmog'ini ignaga sanchib oladi, qon biroz ketadi, lekin Aziz darrov bint topadi.

Juma kuni imtihondan keyin sinfga ulkan tort keltiriladi. Mr. Brown hayron bo'ladi, garchi to'liq emas, chunki koridorda pichir-pichirni eshitgan edi. «Tort charchagan o'qituvchi uchun eng yaxshi chora», deydi u. Dilya kun haqida maktab gazetasi uchun aniq hisobot yozadi va hamma kuladi.
