Hikoya: The Fossil Hunt

Unit so'zlari matnda ajratib ko'rsatilgan. Gapni bossangiz, hikoya shu gapdan o'qiladi.

The club goes on a fossil hunt to a hill with a high cliff. A scientist, Dr. Salima, supervises the group and gives each student a small brush. "Water is a necessity on such trips," she says, and everyone fills a bottle. After two hours of walking, Sam feels hunger and eagerly opens his lunch box.

Suddenly, Anvar finds what looks like a mere stone. Dr. Salima looks closely and says that it is a fossil of a small sea animal, millions of years old. Anvar is embarrassed, because he almost threw it away. She smiles and says that every scientist has such unexpected moments.

In the afternoon, the group sits in a circle for an intimate talk. Dr. Salima explains that this place was once a jungle near the sea, and she calls it an amazing natural phenomenon. She acknowledges that her own pursuit of knowledge began when she was a child like them. On the way back, Sam whistles a happy song, and the sun sets behind the cliff.

O'zbekcha tarjimasi

Klub qazilma qoldiqlarini qidirish uchun baland jarlikli tepalikka boradi. Olima Dr. Salima guruhni nazorat qiladi va har bir o'quvchiga kichik cho'tka beradi. «Bunday sayohatlarda suv zaruriyat», deydi u va hamma shishani to'ldiradi. Ikki soatlik yurishdan keyin Sem ochlik his qiladi va intiqlik bilan tushlik qutisini ochadi.

Birdan Anvar oddiygina tosh ko'rinishidagi narsani topadi. Dr. Salima yaqindan qarab, bu millionlab yillik kichik dengiz hayvonining qazilmasi ekanini aytadi. Anvar xijolat bo'ladi, chunki uni deyarli tashlab yuborgan edi. U jilmayib, har bir olim shunday kutilmagan lahzalarni boshdan kechirishini aytadi.

Tushdan keyin guruh samimiy suhbat uchun doira bo'lib o'tiradi. Dr. Salima bu joy bir paytlar dengiz yonidagi chakalakzor o'rmon bo'lganini tushuntiradi va uni ajoyib tabiiy hodisa deb ataydi. U o'zining bilimga intilishi xuddi ular kabi bola paytida boshlanganini tan oladi. Qaytishda Sem xushnud kuyni hushtak chalib boradi, quyosh esa jarlik ortiga botadi.
