Hikoya: Sports Day

Unit so'zlari matnda ajratib ko'rsatilgan. Gapni bossangiz, hikoya shu gapdan o'qiladi.

On Sports Day, a famous athlete visits the school and talks to the students about health. She says that regular exercise should be the norm, not a rare event, and that nobody should neglect breakfast. Sam, who dislikes running, groans loudly, but Dilya is conscious of her health and smiles.

The race goes up a long slope behind the school. Aziz plans his steps efficiently, and Anvar gladly helps a younger boy who loses a shoe. Sam feels a pain in his heel, but he does not stop. The athlete gives him a hint: "Breathe slowly, and look at the top, not at your feet."

In the evening, Sam admits that he had a nightmare about the race: in his dream, the hill grew taller every minute. Everybody laughs. The class is thrilled, and the students are supportive of each other. They write a song, and Dilya puts the lyrics on the board. "You can accomplish more than you think," says the athlete.

O'zbekcha tarjimasi

Sport kunida mashhur sportchi ayol maktabga kelib, o'quvchilar bilan salomatlik haqida suhbatlashadi. U muntazam mashqlar kamdan-kam hodisa emas, me'yor bo'lishi kerakligini va hech kim nonushtani e'tiborsiz qoldirmasligini aytadi. Yugurishni yoqtirmaydigan Sem baland ovozda ingrab qo'yadi, sog'lig'ini ongli tutadigan Dilya esa jilmayadi.

Poyga maktab orqasidagi uzun qiyalik bo'ylab o'tadi. Aziz qadamlarini unumli rejalashtiradi, Anvar esa poyabzalini yo'qotgan kichik bolaga mamnuniyat bilan yordam beradi. Semning tovoni og'riydi, lekin u to'xtamaydi. Sportchi unga ishora beradi: «Sekin nafas ol va oyog'ingga emas, cho'qqiga qara».

Kechqurun Sem poyga haqida dahshatli tush ko'rganini tan oladi: tushida tepalik har daqiqa balandlashib borgan. Hamma kuladi. Sinf hayajonda, o'quvchilar bir-birini qo'llab-quvvatlaydi. Ular qo'shiq yozadi, Dilya esa matnini doskaga yozib qo'yadi. «Siz o'ylaganingizdan ko'proq narsani uddalay olasiz», deydi sportchi.
