Hikoya: The Special Issue

Unit so'zlari matnda ajratib ko'rsatilgan. Gapni bossangiz, hikoya shu gapdan o'qiladi.

This week, the club officially publishes a special issue of the school newspaper. Dilya is passionate about the sports page, and she writes about the new football pitch. Anvar prepares a science article about the heart, an important organ of the body, and he cites two books as sources. Mr. Brown's explicit rule is simple: every fact needs a source.

The issue also contains a story, amongst others, about an ancient sword in the city museum. Sam writes it, but he cannot find a spare pen, so he twists the cap of his marker nervously. Aziz reads the text and says that the perception of readers matters: a title must be clear, not boring. Sam finally grasps the idea and changes it. The motivation of the whole team grows.

At the farewell party on Friday, the club gives every graduating student a copy of the issue. The editors also bring a bunch of flowers for the oldest teacher, Mrs. Rakhimova. She reads the first page and has tears of joy. "A newspaper is a small mirror of the school," she says. Everyone applauds.

O'zbekcha tarjimasi

Shu hafta klub maktab gazetasining maxsus sonini rasman chop etadi. Dilya sport sahifasiga ishtiyoqmand va yangi futbol maydoni haqida yozadi. Anvar tananing muhim a'zosi bo'lgan yurak haqida ilmiy maqola tayyorlaydi va manba sifatida ikkita kitobdan iqtibos keltiradi. Mr. Brownning ochiq-oydin qoidasi oddiy: har bir faktning manbasi bo'lishi kerak.

Sonda, boshqalar orasida, shahar muzeyidagi qadimiy qilich haqida ham hikoya bor. Uni Sem yozadi, lekin ortiqcha qalam topa olmay, asabiylashib markerining qopqog'ini burab o'tiradi. Aziz matnni o'qib, o'quvchilarning idroki muhimligini aytadi: sarlavha zerikarli emas, aniq bo'lishi kerak. Sem nihoyat fikrni tushunib yetadi va sarlavhani o'zgartiradi. Butun jamoaning rag'bati o'sadi.

Juma kuni xayrlashuv kechasida klub har bir bitiruvchiga sonning bir nusxasini sovg'a qiladi. Muharrirlar eng keksa o'qituvchi Mrs. Rakhimovaga bir dasta gul ham olib keladi. U birinchi sahifani o'qiydi va ko'zlariga quvonch yoshi keladi. «Gazeta — maktabning kichik oynasi», deydi u. Hamma qarsak chaladi.
