Hikoya: The Ancient Fortress

Unit so'zlari matnda ajratib ko'rsatilgan. Gapni bossangiz, hikoya shu gapdan o'qiladi.

On a hot May morning, the club travels to the ruins of an ancient fortress in the desert. At the entrance, a guide shows them a stone statue of a warrior. The view is exceptional: yellow sand stretches to the horizon. Amid the broken walls, the friends feel as if they stand inside a history book. Dilya is fascinated and takes many notes.

After an hour, Sam is desperate for water, but the bottles are still in the bus. The guide gives him a cup and a salt tablet and shows how it dissolves in water. "Thick stone walls retain the heat of the day," she explains, "so the night inside is warm." A local dog sniffs their bags and instantly finds Anvar's sandwich.

The highlight of the trip is a small museum near the exit. There the guide tells the story of an orphan boy who became a famous scholar in the fortress. Before leaving, Sam puts his last coins into a donation box. He also feels guilt about a candy paper that he dropped earlier, so he collects all the paper he can find.

O'zbekcha tarjimasi

Issiq may kuni ertalab klub cho'ldagi qadimiy qal'a xarobalariga boradi. Kirish joyida gid ularga jangchining tosh haykalini ko'rsatadi. Manzara favqulodda: sariq qum ufqqacha cho'zilgan. Buzilgan devorlar o'rtasida do'stlar o'zlarini tarix kitobining ichida turgandek his qiladi. Dilya maftun bo'lib, ko'p qaydlar yozadi.

Bir soatdan keyin Sem suvga juda zor bo'lib qoladi, lekin shishalar hali avtobusda. Gid unga stakan va tuz tabletkasini beradi va u suvda qanday erishini ko'rsatadi. «Qalin tosh devorlar kunning issiqligini saqlab qoladi», deb tushuntiradi u, «shuning uchun ichkarida kechasi iliq bo'ladi». Mahalliy it ularning sumkalarini hidlab, Anvarning sendvichini bir zumda topadi.

Sayohatning eng yorqin lahzasi — chiqish yaqinidagi kichik muzey. U yerda gid qal'ada mashhur olim bo'lib yetishgan yetim bola haqida hikoya qiladi. Ketishdan oldin Sem oxirgi tangalarini xayriya qutisiga tashlaydi. U ilgari tashlab yuborgan konfet qog'ozi uchun aybdorlik his qiladi, shuning uchun topgan barcha qog'ozlarni yig'ib oladi.
