Hikoya: A Bridge on the Stage

Unit so'zlari matnda ajratib ko'rsatilgan. Gapni bossangiz, hikoya shu gapdan o'qiladi.

The club wants to enter a drama festival, and its competitors are strong. Dilya finds inspiration in an old tale from her grandmother. Two villages stand on opposite sides of a river, and they are enemies for a hundred years. The ending of the tale is tragic, but the club decides to change it with a new scenario. "Our play will unite the villages," says Dilya.

Aziz is reluctant at first, because he thinks that creativity is Sam's job. Sam jokes openly about everything, even the old king's moustache, and the rehearsals are full of laughter. The club builds a wooden bridge for the stage. It is unfortunate that a storm hits the school on the night before the festival. The wind breaks the bridge, and the rain spoils the costumes.

The friends do not give up. They rebuild the bridge in one night, and the next morning the stage is ready. In the new scenario, the two villages build the bridge together and learn the meaning of equality. The audience claps for a long time. The friends win only second prize, but they are nonetheless proud.

O'zbekcha tarjimasi

Klub drama festivaliga qatnashmoqchi, raqiblari esa kuchli. Dilya ilhomni buvisidan eshitgan eski ertakdan topadi. Ikki qishloq daryoning qarama-qarshi tomonlarida turadi va yuz yil dushman bo'lib yashaydi. Ertakning oxiri fojiali, lekin klub uni yangi ssenariy bilan o'zgartirishga qaror qiladi. «Bizning spektaklimiz qishloqlarni birlashtiradi», deydi Dilya.

Aziz avvaliga istaksiz, chunki ijodkorlik Semning ishi deb o'ylaydi. Sem hamma narsa, hatto keksa shohning mo'ylovi ustidan ham ochiqdan-ochiq hazillashadi va mashqlar kulgiga to'la bo'ladi. Klub sahna uchun yog'och ko'prik quradi. Festivaldan oldingi kechasi maktabga bo'ron urgani omadsizlik. Shamol ko'prikni sindiradi, yomg'ir esa kostyumlarni buzadi.

Do'stlar taslim bo'lmaydi. Ular ko'prikni bir kechada qayta quradi va ertasi ertalab sahna tayyor bo'ladi. Yangi ssenariyda ikki qishloq ko'prikni birga quradi va tenglik nimani anglatishini o'rganadi. Tomoshabinlar uzoq qarsak chaladi. Do'stlar faqat ikkinchi o'rinni egallaydi, lekin shunga qaramay faxrlanadi.
