Unit so'zlari matnda ajratib ko'rsatilgan. Gapni bossangiz, hikoya shu gapdan o'qiladi.

The club receives an invitation to the city kite festival. There are two hundred participants, and whoever flies the highest kite wins a big prize. Anvar is eager to start at once. Sam wants a fashionable kite in the shape of a green frog, and he makes it from paper grocery bags.

At the park, a barrier keeps the crowd away from the field. In the morning, the wind is strong, and the frog kite soars above the trees. But after lunch, the wind weakens, and every kite begins to struggle in the air. Sam's frog falls and stays suspended high on a branch.

Sam is severely disappointed and wants someone to take the blame. "Nobody deserves it," says Dilya. "It is only the weather." Mr. Brown gets the kite down with a long stick. The friends then have a relaxing picnic under the tree, and Sam decides to keep the frog as a lucky charm.

O'zbekcha tarjimasi

Klub shahar varrak festivaliga taklifnoma oladi. Ishtirokchilar ikki yuz kishi va kim eng baland varrak uchirsa, katta sovrinni yutadi. Anvar darhol boshlashga ishtiyoqmand. Sem yashil baqa shaklidagi modali varrak xohlaydi va uni qog'oz xarid xaltalaridan yasaydi.

Bog'da to'siq olomonni maydondan uzoqda ushlab turadi. Ertalab shamol kuchli va baqa varrak daraxtlar tepasida baland ko'tariladi. Lekin tushlikdan keyin shamol zaiflashadi va har bir varrak havoda kurashishga tushadi. Semning baqasi tushib, baland shoxda osilib qoladi.

Sem qattiq xafa bo'ladi va kimdir ayblovni o'z zimmasiga olishini xohlaydi. «Hech kim ayblanishga loyiq emas», deydi Dilya. «Bu shunchaki ob-havo». Mr. Brown uzun tayoq bilan varrakni tushiradi. Keyin do'stlar daraxt tagida dam beruvchi piknik qiladi, Sem esa baqani omad tilsimi sifatida saqlab qolishga qaror qiladi.
