Hikoya: A Village Wedding

Unit so'zlari matnda ajratib ko'rsatilgan. Gapni bossangiz, hikoya shu gapdan o'qiladi.

Aziz's cousin gets married in a village in the countryside, and the club is invited. The journey is long, but the view is fascinating: green fields, small rivers, and white houses. The bride is a shy girl with a bright smile. Occasionally, she looks at the photographer, who runs around the garden and shouts, "Smile!"

In the kitchen, the women bake bread in a big oven. Every ingredient is local: flour from the next village, butter from the neighbour's cow. "Do not hesitate to take more!" the cook tells Sam. He does not need to hear it twice. He begs for one more piece. Dilya has to remind him that the first guests have not eaten yet. "Be sensible," she whispers.

In the evening, a group of musicians plays old songs. One musician, an old man with a long beard, plays so well that he seems to inspire everyone to dance. Even shy Anvar dances. Sam steps on someone's foot and feels embarrassed. The groom's grandmother laughs. "Young man," she says, "you made a very strong impression on my foot."

O'zbekcha tarjimasi

Azizning amakivachchasi qishloqda turmush quradi va klub taklif qilinadi. Yo'l uzoq, lekin manzara maftunkor: yam-yashil dalalar, kichik daryolar va oq uylar. Kelin uyatchan, yorqin tabassumli qiz. Ba'zan u bog' bo'ylab yugurib, «Jilmaying!» deb qichqirayotgan fotografga qaraydi.

Oshxonada ayollar katta pechda non yopadi. Har bir masalliq mahalliy: qo'shni qishloqdan un, qo'shnining sigiridan sariyog'. «Ko'proq olishdan tortinma!» deydi oshpaz Semga. Unga ikki marta aytish shart emas. U yana bir bo'lak so'rab yalinadi. Dilya unga birinchi mehmonlar hali ovqatlanmaganini eslatishi kerak. «Aqlli bo'l», deb pichirlaydi u.

Kechqurun musiqachilar guruhi eski qo'shiqlarni chaladi. Uzun soqolli bir keksa musiqachi shunchalik yaxshi chaladiki, hammani raqsga ilhomlantirayotganga o'xshaydi. Hatto uyatchan Anvar ham raqsga tushadi. Sem birovning oyog'ini bosib, xijolat bo'ladi. Kuyovning buvisi kuladi. «Yosh yigit», deydi u, «sen mening oyog'imda juda kuchli taassurot qoldirding».
