Hikoya: A Trip to the Museum

Unit so'zlari matnda ajratib ko'rsatilgan. Gapni bossangiz, hikoya shu gapdan o'qiladi.

On Saturday, the English club visits a modern museum in the north of the city. A long line of people already waits at the door. "Actually, I thought it was a small museum," says Sam. "It is a public museum," says Dilya. "Everybody can come." Aziz is a member of the museum club, so he shows his card, and the friends enter first.

Inside, a guard says, "You can take photos, but we do not allow a flash." The first room is about life a century ago. Dilya reads the title of a big picture: "The Last Bread of Winter". "What a view!" says Aziz, and he points at the window. From there, they can see the whole city.

In the museum café, they order fresh tea and warm bread. "This visit is a good chance to improve our English," says Dilya. "Let us describe each picture in three sentences." Sam is quiet for a minute. Then he points at a painting of a horse and says, "Horse. Big. Brown. Very good horse." Everyone laughs, and the guard laughs too.

Eshik oldida allaqachon uzun navbat turibdi. «Aslida, men kichik muzey deb o'ylagandim», deydi Sem. «Bu ommaviy muzey», deydi Dilya. «Hamma kelishi mumkin». Aziz muzey klubining a'zosi, shuning uchun kartasini ko'rsatadi va do'stlar birinchi bo'lib kiradi.

Ichkarida qorovul aytadi: «Suratga olishingiz mumkin, lekin chaqnoqqa ruxsat bermaymiz». Birinchi xona bir asr oldingi hayot haqida. Dilya katta rasmning nomini o'qiydi: «Qishning oxirgi noni». «Qanday manzara!» deydi Aziz va derazani ko'rsatadi. U yerdan butun shahar ko'rinadi.

Muzey kafesida ular yangi damlangan choy va issiq non buyurtma qiladi. «Bu sayohat ingliz tilimizni yaxshilash uchun yaxshi imkoniyat», deydi Dilya. «Keling, har bir rasmni uchta gap bilan tasvirlaymiz». Sem bir daqiqa jim turadi. Keyin otning rasmini ko'rsatib deydi: «Ot. Katta. Jigarrang. Juda yaxshi ot». Hamma kuladi, qorovul ham kuladi.
