Hikoya: The Missing Rabbit

Unit so'zlari matnda ajratib ko'rsatilgan. Gapni bossangiz, hikoya shu gapdan o'qiladi.

The club votes for a class pet, and the rabbit wins. The rabbit lives upstairs in the club room, in a plastic box with a metal door. Aziz is very happy. "I will feed him every day," he promises.

One morning, the door is not shut, and the box is empty. "Somebody stole the rabbit!" shouts Dilya. The friends are unhappy. Then Aziz sees small footprints in a drop of oil on the stairs. "Sam spilled oil here yesterday," he says. The footprints lead outside, to the railway platform behind the school.

Suddenly, they hear a sneeze. The rabbit sits on the platform and eats a spicy samsa with a very surprised face. Aziz takes it back. Dilya sticks a big note on the metal door: "Always shut the door!" "A useful lesson," says Sam.

O'zbekcha tarjimasi

Klub sinf uy hayvoni uchun ovoz beradi va quyon g'alaba qozonadi. Quyon yuqori qavatdagi klub xonasida, metall eshikli plastmassa qutida yashaydi. Aziz juda xursand. «Men uni har kuni boqaman», deb va'da beradi.

Bir kuni ertalab eshik yopilmagan, quti esa bo'sh. «Kimdir quyonni o'g'irlabdi!» deb qichqiradi Dilya. Do'stlar xafa. Keyin Aziz zinapoyada moy tomchisiga bosilgan mayda izlarni ko'radi. «Kecha Sem bu yerga moy to'kkan edi», deydi u. Izlar tashqariga, maktab orqasidagi temir yo'l platformasiga olib boradi.

To'satdan ular hapshirishni eshitadi. Quyon platformada o'tiribdi va juda hayron yuz bilan achchiq samsa yeyapti. Aziz uni qaytarib olib keladi. Dilya metall eshikka katta yozuv yopishtiradi: «Eshikni doim yoping!» «Foydali dars», deydi Sem.
