The club has a mock trial in the school hall. Aziz is the judge, and Sam is the lawyer. Sam arrives with a big piece of luggage instead of a small bag. "It is full of papers," he says. The judge's chair is broken, so Anvar repairs it quickly.
The case is unusual: someone bit the red rose on Dilya's desk. "I wonder who did it," says the judge. The room is silent. Dilya shows the teeth marks on the rose. "I have sixty seconds to prove that my client is innocent," says Sam. His client is Anvar. "My client loves peace," says Sam, "and he never bites flowers!"
The people laugh, and the judge blows a whistle. Suddenly, Dilya's cat jumps from the window with a rose leaf in its mouth. "Case closed!" says the judge. Sam wins the trial by a score of one to zero. "A wonderful day," says Sam. Dilya looks at the cat. "I will never leave a rose near you again," she says.
Klub maktab zalida soxta sud o'tkazadi. Aziz sudya, Sem esa advokat. Sem kichik sumka o'rniga katta bagaj bilan keladi. «U qog'ozlarga to'la», deydi u. Sudyaning stuli singan, shuning uchun Anvar uni tez ta'mirlaydi.
Ish g'ayrioddiy: kimdir Dilyaning stolidagi qizil atirgulni tishlagan. «Kim qilganiga hayronman», deydi sudya. Zal jim. Dilya atirgulda tish izlarini ko'rsatadi. «Mijozimning aybsizligini isbotlash uchun oltmish soniyam bor», deydi Sem. Uning mijozi — Anvar. «Mening mijozim tinchlikni sevadi, — deydi Sem, — va hech qachon gullarni tishlamaydi!»
Odamlar kuladi, sudya esa hushtakni puflaydi. To'satdan Dilyaning mushugi og'zida atirgul bargi bilan derazadan sakrab tushadi. «Ish yopildi!» deydi sudya. Sem sudni bir-nol hisobi bilan yutadi. «Ajoyib kun», deydi Sem. Dilya mushukka qaraydi. «Atirgulni boshqa hech qachon sening yoningda qoldirmayman», deydi u.
