Hikoya: The Garage Band

Unit so'zlari matnda ajratib ko'rsatilgan. Gapni bossangiz, hikoya shu gapdan o'qiladi.

The friends start a rock band in Aziz's garage. Dilya is the leader, and she is very strict. "Obey my rules," she says. "Rule number one: the garage must be tidy." Sam looks at the rubbish on the floor. "Is this a band or a cleaning club?" he asks.

Aziz plays the piano, but his hands shake because he is nervous. Sam yells the first song so loudly that a bird flies off the roof. In the middle of the song, he tries to tear his red scarf like a rock star, but the scarf is too strong.

Fortunately, an old neighbor comes in with a plate of cookies. He is relaxed and smiling. "I love rock," he says. "This is my wife's recipe." The band eats all the cookies in one minute. "Rule number two," says Dilya. "Every band needs a neighbor with a good recipe."

O'zbekcha tarjimasi

Do'stlar Azizning garajida rok guruh tashkil qiladi. Dilya rahbar, u juda qattiqqo'l. «Qoidalarimga itoat qiling, — deydi u. — Birinchi qoida: garaj ozoda bo'lishi kerak». Sem polda yotgan axlatga qaraydi. «Bu guruhmi yoki tozalash klubimi?» deb so'raydi u.

Aziz pianino chaladi, lekin hayajonlangani uchun qo'llari titraydi. Sem birinchi qo'shiqni shunchalik baland ovozda baqiradiki, tom ustidan qush uchib ketadi. Qo'shiq o'rtasida u rok yulduzlari kabi qizil sharfini yirtmoqchi bo'ladi, lekin sharf juda mustahkam.

Yaxshiyamki, keksa qo'shni qo'lida pechenye solingan likopcha bilan kirib keladi. U xotirjam va jilmayib turibdi. «Men rokni yaxshi ko'raman, — deydi u. — Bu xotinimning retsepti». Guruh pechenyelarning hammasini bir daqiqada yeb qo'yadi. «Ikkinchi qoida, — deydi Dilya. — Har bir guruhga yaxshi retseptli qo'shni kerak».
