Hikoya: The Long Journey

Unit so'zlari matnda ajratib ko'rsatilgan. Gapni bossangiz, hikoya shu gapdan o'qiladi.

On Sunday, the friends take a journey to a tiny village in the mountains. The bus ride takes nearly five hours. The driver plays the same song on the radio fifty times, and Aziz keeps the receipt for the tickets.

From the bus stop, the path to the village is long. At a river, there is only a single rope bridge. "I wish we could fly," says Dilya. Anvar goes first and nearly falls into the water, but he succeeds in reaching the other side.

In the village, an old lady welcomes them. By the light of a small lamp, she gives each friend bread with red sauce. Sam spreads a lot of sauce and says, "This is the best food of my life!" "Careful," says the lady. "That sauce is raw chili." Sam's face turns red, and he drinks a whole jug of water.
