Hikoya: Guests from Abroad

Unit so'zlari matnda ajratib ko'rsatilgan. Gapni bossangiz, hikoya shu gapdan o'qiladi.

In March, three exchange students arrive at the airport from different countries. One airline has lost a suitcase, and it seems like a disaster, because Marco's warm boots are inside. He laughs and says, "At least I will have a weird story for my family." Aziz is happy about the diversity of the group: one guest is from Brazil, one from Japan, and one from Kenya.

On the first evening, the guests and the club cooperate to make pancakes. Dilya shows how to chop the apples, and Anvar heats the big pan. One pancake jumps out of the pan and bounces across the floor, and Marco laughs so hard that he can hardly breathe. The whole dinner is very affordable, because the apples come from the school garden.

The appearance of the pancakes is perfect, golden and sweet. Sam jokes that it should be illegal to stop eating them. Aziz puts his phone aside and asks the guests about school life in their countries. Mr. Brown says there is a real possibility of repeating the evening next year, and everyone cheers.

O'zbekcha tarjimasi

Mart oyida turli mamlakatlardan uchta almashinuv o'quvchisi aeroportga yetib keladi. Bir aviakompaniya jomadonni yo'qotgan va bu falokatdek tuyuladi, chunki Markoning issiq etiklari o'sha yerda. U kulib: «Hech bo'lmasa oilamga g'alati voqea aytib beraman», deydi. Aziz guruhning xilma-xilligidan xursand: mehmonlardan biri Braziliyadan, biri Yaponiyadan, yana biri Keniyadan.

Birinchi kechqurun mehmonlar va klub birgalikda blinchik pishiradi. Dilya olmani qanday maydalashni ko'rsatadi, Anvar esa katta tovani qizdiradi. Bitta blinchik tovadan sakrab chiqib, polda dumalab ketadi, Marko esa shunchalik kuladiki, zo'rg'a nafas oladi. Butun kechki ovqat juda arzonga tushadi, chunki olmalar maktab bog'idan.

Blinchiklarning ko'rinishi a'lo: tilla rang va shirin. Sem ularni yeyishni to'xtatish noqonuniy bo'lishi kerakligini hazil qiladi. Aziz telefonini bir chetga qo'yib, mehmonlardan ularning mamlakatlaridagi maktab hayoti haqida so'raydi. Mr. Brown kelgusi yil kechani takrorlash imkoniyati haqiqatan bor ekanini aytadi va hamma qarsak chaladi.
