Hikoya: The Computer Room

Unit so'zlari matnda ajratib ko'rsatilgan. Gapni bossangiz, hikoya shu gapdan o'qiladi.

The school has a small computer room, and the club makes a request to use it twice a week. The director thinks about it for a long time. "I will consider it," he says. "Your reason is good, but the room is full of old stuff." Aziz and Sam carry boxes out to the corridor. The staff of the school help them, and the room soon looks clean.

Now Dilya shows the new software for learning English. It has a wide range of games, and the speed of the programme is amazing. Anvar says it is very effective, particularly for spelling. "Is it worth the money?" asks Sam. "Yes," says Dilya, "because it improves your knowledge a little every day."

Mr. Brown, though, is not completely sure. "Computers are useful," he says, "but we must also go outside. Language lives in the street." So on Friday, the club has an outdoor lesson in the park. They remain in a circle under a tree and define new words by acting. Sam acts out "ambulance" so loudly that a dog runs away.

O'zbekcha tarjimasi

Maktabda kichik kompyuter xonasi bor va klub undan haftada ikki marta foydalanish uchun so'rov yozadi. Direktor bu haqda uzoq o'ylaydi. «Ko'rib chiqaman», deydi u. «Sabablaringiz yaxshi, lekin xona eski narsalarga to'la». Aziz va Sem qutilarni yo'lakka olib chiqadi. Maktab xodimlari ularga yordam beradi va xona tez orada toza ko'rinadi.

Endi Dilya ingliz tilini o'rganish uchun yangi dasturni ko'rsatadi. Unda turli xil o'yinlar bor, dasturning tezligi esa ajoyib. Anvar bu juda samarali, ayniqsa, imlo uchun, deydi. «Bu pulga arziydimi?» deb so'raydi Sem. «Ha», deydi Dilya, «chunki u har kuni bilimingizni biroz oshiradi».

Biroq Mr. Brown unchalik ishonmaydi. «Kompyuterlar foydali», deydi u, «lekin tashqariga ham chiqishimiz kerak. Til ko'chada yashaydi». Shunday qilib, juma kuni klub parkda ochiq havoda dars o'tkazadi. Ular daraxt tagida doira bo'lib o'tirib, yangi so'zlarni ifodalab ko'rsatish orqali tushuntiradi. Sem «tez yordam» so'zini shunchalik baland ovozda ko'rsatadiki, bir it qochib ketadi.
