Hikoya: Grandfather's Guitar

Unit so'zlari matnda ajratib ko'rsatilgan. Gapni bossangiz, hikoya shu gapdan o'qiladi.

Aziz's grandfather is ninety years old, but he is very fit. Every morning, he walks for thirty minutes and climbs the stairs without a rest. Today, a big storm comes, and the friends stay at his house.

Sam has a sore throat, so the grandfather treats him with hot tea and honey. "Relax on the sofa," he says. Then he brings his old guitar and teaches Sam a basic traditional song. Sam plays so badly that the cat jumps up and runs away, and Dilya chases it around the room.

"I apologize," says Sam. "Never apologize for music," says the grandfather, and he kisses Sam on the cheek. "My first lesson was much worse." Outside, the storm stops. Sam plays again, and this time the cat comes back and sleeps on the sofa. "He likes the second try," says Aziz.

O'zbekcha tarjimasi

Azizning bobosi to'qson yoshda, lekin juda baquvvat. Har kuni ertalab u o'ttiz daqiqa sayr qiladi va dam olmay zinapoyadan chiqadi. Bugun katta bo'ron kelgani uchun do'stlar uning uyida qoladi.

Semning tomog'i og'riyapti, shuning uchun bobo uni issiq choy va asal bilan davolaydi. «Divanda dam ol», deydi u. Keyin eski gitarasini olib kelib, Semga oddiy an'anaviy qo'shiqni o'rgatadi. Sem shunchalik yomon chaladiki, mushuk sakrab turib qochadi, Dilya esa uni xona bo'ylab quvadi.

«Kechirasiz», deydi Sem. «Musiqa uchun hech qachon kechirim so'rama», deydi bobo va Semning yonog'idan o'padi. «Mening birinchi darsim ancha yomonroq edi». Tashqarida bo'ron to'xtaydi. Sem yana chaladi va bu safar mushuk qaytib kelib, divanda uxlaydi. «U ikkinchi urinishni yoqtirdi», deydi Aziz.
