Hikoya: My Neighbor the Singer

Unit so'zlari matnda ajratib ko'rsatilgan. Gapni bossangiz, hikoya shu gapdan o'qiladi.

Aziz has a new neighbor. He is an engineer, but he is also a singer. He is very friendly and has a big red nose and a funny hat. Sometimes he sings in the bathroom, and the whole house can hear him.

One evening, Aziz knocks on his door. "Please be quiet," he says. "I cannot sleep." The neighbor smiles. "Come in and drink tea with me," he says. His kitchen is full of cake and rice. "Do not touch the big cake," he says. "It is for a hundred guests tomorrow."

Behind the house, there is a small garden. "Flowers grow better with songs," says the neighbor. Aziz laughs, but the next morning, the flowers look very happy. Now the singer sings in the garden, and the bathroom is quiet.

O'zbekcha tarjimasi

Azizning yangi qo'shnisi bor. U muhandis, lekin ayni paytda qo'shiqchi ham. U juda xushmuomala, katta qizil burni va kulgili shlyapasi bor. Ba'zan u hammomda qo'shiq aytadi va butun uy uni eshitadi.

Bir oqshom Aziz uning eshigini taqillatadi. «Iltimos, jim bo'ling», deydi u. «Uxlay olmayapman». Qo'shni jilmayadi. «Kiring, men bilan choy iching», deydi u. Uning oshxonasi tort va guruchga to'la. «Katta tortga tegmang», deydi u. «U ertaga yuzta mehmon uchun».

Uyning orqasida kichkina bog' bor. «Gullar qo'shiq bilan yaxshiroq o'sadi», deydi qo'shni. Aziz kuladi, lekin ertasi ertalab gullar juda xursand ko'rinadi. Endi qo'shiqchi bog'da qo'shiq aytadi, hammom esa jim.
